Sinus Infection Symptoms

Acute Sinusitis Symptoms:

  1. Nasal congestion
  2. Postnasal drip, where mucus drips down behind the nose down the throat
  3. Sore throat
  4. Pain around the inner corner of the eye
  5. Fever
  6. Pain or pressure worsens when coughing
  7. Pain or pressure worsens when lying on back, but feels better when sitting upright OR Vice versa.
  8. Headache behind the eye or around temples.
  9. Pain across cheekbone, or around upper teeth.
  10. Swollen and red cheekbone.

Chronic Sinusitis Symptoms:

  1. Nasal discharge
  2. Pain worsens when wearing glasses
  3. Sore throat
  4. Bad breath
  5. Toothache
  6. Coughing at night
  7. Low grade, constant headache
